I just can't even get into the whole work trip right now, because I am too angry and frustrated - or as my supervisor would say, "fustrated."

Just some highlights:

When I arrived at the office, ready to finally get my review (which was due in November), I was told that my boss just left for the day. It was 11 am.

I was told that the women in my department had spent the morning talking about me, saying, "She's getting FLOWN in and staying at the Biltmore? What does she think she is, a celebrity?" As if I asked to go there - as if I ever wanted to step foot in that fucking office ever again.

I was repeatedly sexually harassed by the most powerful man in our firm. This included his asking me if I wanted to sit in his lap at the party.

I finally did get my review, IN THE CAR ON THE WAY TO THE PARTY. The review lasted about 2 minutes, and was stellar. My boss didn't say a single bad thing about me or my work. He admitted that I make a ton of money for my client and for the firm. I personally deal with a client he called a "bitch" and whom no one else wants to talk to. So after all this, he says my raise will be $-, "which is average," plus it will be retroactive to November. So great work = average (actually, quite shitty - about 4%) raise? IN SO MANY WORDS? And I love how he acts like the retroactive thing is a bonus, not what I'm owed.

Some chick asked me what I've been doing to lose weight. Thanks to witty, I know that it's due to my migraine medication, which is what I told this woman. She was saying that she gets really bad migraines too, and asked what I take so that she could try it. I told her that I take Topamax, and she said, "Oh, no. I don't put chemicals in my body." Then why in the name of Jeebus did you ask me what I'm taking? Did you think I would tell you that I chew on some fucking galanga root? Did you ask just so you could act all superior? I hope you get a searing migraine today and every day forever.

My boss, the one who waits for problems to happen before addressing them, the one who berates people in front of the whole department, the one who waited almost half a year to give me my review then gave it to me in a car? That one? He was made partner on Thursday. Ass rises to the top, I guess.
